Thomas Allan has joined the team of Boston-based firm Richards Robinson Sheppard Insurance as vice president.

Allan specializes in construction accounts and utilizes his experience of over 35 years in insurance brokerage to bring a sales, management and marketing approach to his clients. Prior to joining Richards Robinson Sheppard Insurance, Allan served in producer and account executive roles at Risk Strategies, Willis/HRH and Sheppard Riley Coughlin.

A graduate from Bishop Hendricken High School and the Community College of Rhode Island, Sullivan has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, 13 of those years with Starweather & Shepley. In addition to his responsibilities with key markets and accounts, Sullivan also serves as chairman of Starkweather & Shepley’s Quality Management committee and co-chairperson of the Compliance Committee.

Maura Tower, CIC, CISR, AAI, recently joined DeCotis Insurance Associates as an associate account manager.

The Preston Insurance Alliance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage, Inc., has promoted Patrick T. Meacham, AAI, CIC, to the position of senior vice president. Meacham will manage the sales staff, client relationships as well as continue to produce new client partnerships.

Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage recently promoted Richard C. Sullivan to the position of senior vice president, where he will oversee commercial insurance sales for the healthcare, financial institutions, commercial real estate and other markets.

She brings with her 11 years of experience both in commercial and personal lines. She holds a Massachusetts property-casualty license. Tower assists in the placement and servicing of commercial insurance products & services for both binding and brokerage accounts. She works out of DeCotis’ Braintree, Mass., office and attended Quincy College.

Larry Wilson, CPCU, AIS, was recently appointed to the office of executive vice president of commercial lines at Citizens~Union Savings Bank.

Wilson brings over 30 years of insurance experience to his new role. In his new role, Wilson will be responsible for managing the production and retention of commercial lines.

In addition, he will be instrumental in development, growth and profitability of commercial insurance products for Partners Insurance Group.

Prior to his new position, Wilson most recently served as executive vice president at Hub International. He also served as a partner and executive vice president of Feit-elberg Insurance. Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
